Coronavirus, monetary policy, and cash

Due to the Coronavirus, we all go even more digital than before at the moment. I would like to share with you some of the things I have been involved recently:

First, I have produced a video series on monetary policy with a focus on QE. This series is highly topical because it gives you some background on the emergency measures of central banks fighting the Coronavirus. [English]

Second, I was a guest in the Podcast “einundzwanzig”, talking about what the ECB has done in recent weeks to fight a potential recession triggered by the Coronavirus. [German]

Last but not least, in my own podcast, I have talked with Dr. Michael Blaschke about whether the Coronavirus is transmitted via cash and whether it makes sense to hoard cash at home. [German]
